A northern courtyard garden is tucked behind the home, creating a sheltered outdoor retreat protected from the prevailing coastal winds. Strong linear forms are grounded by natural stone cladding, while vertical timber screens provide privacy and filtered shade to the more private areas of the residence. Along the ocean-facing edge, a striking infinity lap pool stretches across the living spaces, creating a dramatic connection to the view beyond. Both coastal sanctuary and entertainer’s home, the design balances openness with privacy and protection.
